Our Precious Angels

Ever since we have returned from our holiday in Austria and Germany (I know I need to get a post going, but it will just take so long!) the boys have been wanting to sleep together. They alternate between each others room and Max gets very upset when the order is messed up. Dan converted Blake's toddler bed to a full bed a couple of months ago and he loves it! Never mind the fact that he was sleeping on top of the duvet last night and peed all the way through the duvet, sheets and the waterproof mattress pad! Luckily, Max was already awake or he would have been peed on! Blake was even wearing a pull-up. I don't think Daddy made sure he went "wee" before he got into bed! My washing machine is WAY too small for the duvet (I really do miss my huge front loaders) so I guess I need to make a trip to the dry cleaners today. I have yet to see a laundromat in the UK so you have to take it somewhere and probably pay loads to have it washed. It has been raining for several days so I'm not too motivated to get out and run errands. Maybe tomorrow it will be sunny....we can at least hope.
Anyway here is a picture of Blake's bed that he is so proud of! (Do you like our "black out" shades? I could probably take that Richwoods blanket down now that we aren't seeing much sunlight!)

Here are our sweet little boys. I don't even know how they have room for themselves. Max sleeps with a dog (Woofy), a wolf (Petro), 2 dogs stuck together (Max and William) and now an elephant that has yet to be named! And Blake, of course, doesn't sleep without his blankie...and his thumb. They really are the best of friends, which we are hoping that last for a very long time.

Despite the rain, we had a wonderful weekend just being together. Dan took Max fishing for a bit on Saturday while I took Blake to a birthday party. They didn't catch a thing and were very cold. Max told me that he and Daddy went to the pub for a beer to get warmed up. Wonderful! We went to church on Sunday and heard a great message about choosing your friends and how important relationships are in our lives. I thank God everyday for the friends we have made here and those we have left behind in the states. I know I would be miserable without them! We had a great afternoon relaxing with some of those amazing friends and now it is back to the grind!
